Peck Tile offers a line of low relief pressed tiles.  Over 50 tile designs are available.  These tiles may be purchased individually or incorporated into a custom tile project.  To create the designs, a technique called pressure sensitive pressing is used.  A master tile is centered, then compressed onto a wet piece of clay.  Each tile design calls for its own pressure into the clay, to create the desired effect.  

Leo uses his own clay body, a special mix that produces strong and durable tiles.  The tile edges are smoothed prior to firing, creating a soft, polished finish.  All tiles are handmade, and subject to normal variations in shape.  After grouting, most of these variations are unnoticeable.  

All tile designs are available in the glaze and overspray combination of your choice.  All glazes shown are satin matte, with an overglaze.  Custom designs and glazes are available.  Contact Leo Peck for a consultation.
